FIFG World Cup Mexico 2026: Important Visa Information for Participating Federations

As preparations accelerate for the FIFG World Cup Mexico 2026, the World Cup Organization is working closely with the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support all players, coaches, presidents, and family members who plan to travel to Mexico for the tournament and require entry visas. Ensuring a smooth, well-coordinated arrival process for every delegation remains a top priority.

To avoid delays and ensure timely processing, federations from several countries must take immediate action.

Countries Requiring a Visa for the Team Competition

Federations from the following countries must initiate the visa process without delay:

Brazil

Honduras

Morocco

South Africa

Türkiye

Additional Countries With Players Requiring a Visa for the Individual Competition

Some players competing individually will also require a visa. These countries include:

Ecuador

Dominican Republic

Guyana

Zambia

Zimbabwe

Required Action: Submission of an Organized Visa Folder

To streamline the review process and ensure efficient coordination with Mexican authorities, each federation must prepare and submit one organized folder containing the complete documentation for all participants who require a visa. This consolidated file should include:

Full list of participants

Passport copies

Player, coach, and staff details

Relevant travel information

Any additional documents required by the embassy in your jurisdiction

Submitting a single, comprehensive folder per federation will help expedite processing and prevent administrative delays.

Please note: Visa regulations are subject to change, and while we have provided the current list of countries requiring visas for entry into Mexico, additional requirements may apply depending on individual circumstances or updates issued by Mexican authorities.

If any federation has questions, doubts, or unique cases, or if there is any possibility of changing requirements, we strongly recommend verifying the latest visa rules with the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the nearest Mexican embassy/consulate to ensure all participants are fully compliant.

A Coordinated Effort for a Successful World Cup

The FIFG and the Mexico 2026 Organizing Committee remain committed to ensuring that every athlete and delegation member arrives smoothly and is fully prepared to compete at the highest level. With cooperation from all federations, Mexico 2026 promises to be a landmark event for the global FootGolf community.
