The Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG) is proud to announce the official 2026 Majors and FIFG 500 tournaments allocated to Region 3 (Europe). These selections follow a rigorous, transparent and data-driven bidding process designed to ensure world-class FootGolf events across the continent.
A Comprehensive and Transparent Bidding Framework
The process began with a pre-bid requirement outlining the mandatory standards that host organisations must meet to deliver events at Major or 500 level. This included course quality, operational planning, player services, media capacity and historical organisational performance.
An independent selection panel, formed by four experienced members from four different countries, conducted detailed interviews with all bidders. Each proposal was then evaluated using a structured scoring system that assessed:
- Quality of past events
- Strength and detail of the 2026 tournament proposal
- Member country data and development indicators
The resulting scores provided the analytical basis for the panel’s recommendations, which were subsequently ratified by the FIFG Board.
