Why is the player package scheduled for June 2–7 when the Welcome Ceremony takes place on June 1?
The team competition package begins with the opening event on the night of June 1st and becomes active on the courses starting June 2nd.
How many course-recognition days are scheduled for the Team Competition?
Course recognition for both courses is scheduled on June 2, with sessions in the morning and afternoon.
How many courses are played in the Team Competition?
Two courses will be played in each category
Are the FootGolf courses within walking distance of the hotels?
Two course layouts are located directly in front of the Princess Hotel (walking distance).
The other two layouts are 9 km away, with round-trip transportation provided.
For guests staying at the Palacio Hotel, all courses are approximately 10 minutes away.
Does the recommended package include breakfast, lunch, and dinner? What lunch options are available, and what is the average cost?
The hotel offers all-inclusive packages. Lunch will be provided on the course for players, captains, and coaches as part of the recommended package. Hotel restaurants operate from 7 AM to 11 PM, and a full lunch typically costs between 600 and 800 Mexican pesos.
Do spectators need to pay an entry fee?
Yes. The fee is nominal and helps cover grandstands, security, fencing, and controlled spectator areas to ensure players are not disturbed during the World Cup.

Do players need to wear uniform clothing?
In both Individual and Team Competitions the players must use their country uniforms. Sponsors may change between each competition though, as players may have additional or different sponsors than the ones collaborating with the countries, so it is allowed to wear the country kit with the alternative individual sponsor variant.
Are players allowed to have their own sponsors?
Yes, in the Individual Competition.
Are there connecting flights organized by the FIFG from Mexico City to Acapulco?
At the moment their are no charter flights within any cities of Mexico. We suggest you book flights asap if you find a good price. At the moment charter flights are more expensive than commercial planes.
Are the event dates final and confirmed?
Yes. Individual May 27 – June 1. Teams June 2 – 7.
Are the player numbers for the Team Competition mandatory, or can there be fewer participants per category?
The mandatory numbers are 11 Men, 6 Seniors, and 4 Women. Each team is allowed one substitution per player, which can be used for injury or to allow rest during the competition.
How many courses are available, and will players play the same courses in the Individual and Team Competitions?
2 golf courses of 18 holes each, with 4 FootGolf layouts in total — 72 FootGolf holes.
Correct, initially each category will only play on 2 courses. We are exploring the possibility that if MEN play courses 2 and 4 in the individual competition, they may play courses 1 and 3 for the team competition. Once all layouts are finalized, the decision will be made.
In principle yes. If a change is decided and they must play the other two courses, they will be able to recognize those courses on the practice day. Sunlight in Acapulco on those dates is from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
When will the draw be made?
In February.
Which teams will play on which courses during the tournament?
Yes, there is already a plan. All categories will play in both venues: Tres Vidas and Turtle Dunes. The individual finals and the semifinals/finals of the team competition will be played at Turtle Dunes. This course is within walking distance from the host hotel, just a few steps away. Tres Vidas is approximately 8 km away and takes 20 minutes using the transportation provided by the organization.
Will dinner be served at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies?
Yes, food will be provided at all ceremonies.
Will transportation be provided from the hotels, and is the bus station on the map the only pick-up point?
Yes, players will be picked up from both hotels. The shuttle will follow a circuit route: Palacio – Princess (Turtle Dunes) – Tres Vidas – Palacio – Princess (Turtle Dunes).
How many hours of live coverage will there be at the World Cup, and which TV channel is the partner?
The World Cup will be streamed on its official social media platforms, with highlights broadcast by Televisa. Countries that need the feed can request it in advance for scheduling.
After the group stage in the Team Competition, will teams that don’t qualify for the round of 16 still play matches?
Yes. Teams eliminated in the group stage, round of 16, or quarterfinals will play placement matches. Specific criteria will be used to determine the final World Cup ranking.
To whom should payments be made?
Accommodation payments are made directly to the hotel, and fees are paid directly to the organizer. Payments can be completed either via email instructions or through the online system.
